Job Description
We are a small, privately owned general dental practice in the Suntree/Melbourne area looking for a Dental Assistant who has a solid foundation in basic dental assisting and is eager to continue learning and developing their clinical skills.
New dental assisting graduates are welcome to apply. Previous dental office experience is preferred, but it is not required .
We are happy to train the right person on our procedures, materials, office systems, and the doctor's preferred way of working. However, we are looking for someone who already has the basic clinical knowledge expected from dental assisting training , including taking dental X-rays, infection control and sterilization, basic chairside assisting, and familiarity with common dental instruments and terminology.
We are not a high-volume corporate office. We focus on providing quality dentistry, taking good care of our patients, and creating an organized clinical environment where the doctor and assistant can work well together.

We are especially interested in someone who has the right foundation, attitude, and willingness to learn. We will train the right candidate.
Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging 32–36 hours per week.
Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No evenings
We have morning huddles and team meetings because communication, preparation, and teamwork are important to how our office operates.
Compensation
$20–$28/hour , depending on experience and demonstrated clinical ability.
Compensation can grow as your skills, responsibilities, and contribution to the practice grow.
This position offers a consistent four-day workweek in a small, privately owned dental practice. It may be an especially good opportunity for a newer dental assistant who wants to continue developing their clinical skills, work closely with one doctor, and become an important part of the clinical team.
