Han Cha is a Korean high tea room in Woodlawn at 67th and South Stony Island Avenue — just south of the new Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park. We serve thoughtful, seasonal prix fixe high tea menu and a curated tea/beverage program in a warm, hospitality-driven setting, and we're building a close, growing team in one of the South Side's most exciting new dining corridors.

What you'll do:

• Deliver warm, attentive, knowledgeable service from greeting to farewell
• Guide guests through the menu, tea, and beverage offerings and make thoughtful recommendations
• Take and enter orders accurately, manage timing and flow with the kitchen and bar
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, properly set stations and tables
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash/POS procedures
• Work as a team with bussers, bartenders, and kitchen to keep service seamless
• Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards

What we're looking for:

• 1+ year of serving experience, ideally in a full-service or high-volume restaurant
• Genuine warmth and a guest-first attitude
• Strong communication and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
• Knowledge of or curiosity about Korean cuisine and tea a big plus
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to work [evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed]
• Illinois BASSET certification (or willingness to obtain) and Food Handler card preferred

• Hours will be 36-40 per week Thursday to Sunday
