  • Ensure all HV work is performed safely, meeting Kinross SafeGround expectations and following NFPA 70E, MSHA, NEC, and company electrical standards.
  • Document maintenance, inspections, switching activities, testing results, and repair work in the CMMS for compliance, traceability, and long-term reliability tracking.
  • Mentor and support lower-level electricians in safe HV work practices, reinforcing a safety-first culture.
  • Participate in energy efficiency and cost reduction initiatives related to power distribution reliability and usage.
  • Maintain strong housekeeping and ensure all tools, PPE, and equipment are inspected and maintained in proper working conditions.
